About Us
Atlantic Hood Systems (and Stainless Steel Fabricators) is a full service
custom-made stainless steel food equipment fabricator and manufacturer. We have been providing
quality sheet metal fabrication and stainless steel restaurant equipment for the commercial
restaurant kitchen industry for over 20 years. We put the customer first, to ensure their
satisfaction, and place our heart in fabricating the right products and offering excellent service
promptly. With our complete stainless steel fabrication shop in-house, located in Charleston, SC, we
serve the entire state of SC and surrounding areas. Additionally, our custom sheet metal contractor
can provide on-site free estimates for local commercial kitchen ventilation projects.
The
science of commercial kitchen ventilation includes both exhausting air as well as providing
replacement air within the cooking area. Whether a restaurant is a small free-standing site or a
large institutional kitchen, managing and balancing airflow is a complex issue. It is a challenge to
properly ventilate commercial kitchens, as they require moving large volumes of air through ductwork
and equipment placement in very restricted spaces. All our hoods and exhaust ductwork is custom
made. Our projects meet the health and fire regulations for your kitchen while at the same time,
meeting the physical limitations of your space.
